Frequently Asked Questions

The grooming experience is intended to be stress-free and relaxing for both you and your pet resulting in mutual trust.

Hopefully the following will answer any questions you may have. If there is anything not covered, please get in touch. 

What size is my dog?

Sizing is based on weight.

Small: up to 10 kg

Medium: 11 - 20 kg

Large: 21 - 35 kg

Extra large 36 kg +

Can I request a cut style?

Yes of course! I will endeavour to deliver the groom you prefer but will always prioritise the welfare of the canine.

I understand things happen, so if for example there is heavy matting, I will ring you and give my recommendations before proceeding. With routine visits and maintenance at home, your desired grooms should always be achievable.

What products do you use?

I use cleaning products with all natural ingredients, and deliberately choose not to use additional fragrances such as perfumes. I think a clean smelling dog is the best smelling dog! If you find you or your pup have any adverse reactions to the products I use, I am happy to discuss further options.

What if my dog is nervous or has been unsure at the groomers before?

As I have years of experience training and handling dogs prior to becoming a groomer, I can incorporate various strategies to alleviate their nerves. Potentially building a clear plan or custom grooming regime to build your dog's trust with me.

 

I believe every dog deserves to feel and look their best. However I will reserve the right to decline service if I receive any abusive behaviour from the owners or if I feel I am not the best equipped to deal with a particular dog. If in doubt, please call me for a chat!

Why do I need to input card details to book?

Booking is done through the reputable booking platform Fresha, which takes a deposit and holds your card on file. Fresha keeps all your details safe.

This deposit is deducted from the total cost of your service, and you can either choose to pay the remainder using the card on file, or alternative methods following your service. 

The deposit is merely a method to ensure if you have to cancel last minute without notice, I can account for my time and loss of income as I cannot fill this appointment slot last minute.

    Saturday: 10 am until 4 pm

    Sunday: Closed
